1. Start Your Day With God
Before your first phone scroll, say a prayer. Read a verse. Journal your thoughts. Even five minutes in the presence of God can reset your whole spirit.
“Early in the morning, O Lord, you hear my voice.” - Psalm 5:3
2. Make Room for Conviction
Don’t simply listen for what soothes your soul or situation. Ask God to search your heart and correct you when needed. Growth comes through His refining fire.
“Search me, O God, and know my heart.” - Psalm 139:23
3. Turn Commutes into Communion
Use mundane moments (shower, walking, cooking, driving) to talk with God. He’s not limited to specific time slots.
“Pray without ceasing.” - 1 Thessalonians 5:17
4. Don’t Just Read the Word, Apply It
What’s the point of reading “love your neighbour” if we gossip by noon? Start living what you highlighted in your bible.
“Be doers of the word, and not hearers only.” - James 1:22
5. Keep God in Your Circle
Surround yourself with women who stir your faith, not dull it. Spiritual friendships strengthen spiritual walks.
“As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.” - Proverbs 27:17
6. Go as You are to God
God can handle your mess. Don’t hide when you fall. Bring the whole of you; your tears, shame, doubt and let Him restore you just as you came.
“A broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise.” - Psalm 51:17
